Excitation Series FAQ
Check the wiring according to the manual first, and make sure that the wiring is correct.
One. Can't build
1. The switch on the panel is not turned to run.
2. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the A line and N line of the generator on the terminal of the controller to see if there is more than 5V. If the residual voltage is lower than 5V, please switch the panel switch to debugging, and use the power of the grid to start the excitation. After debugging, press and hold the increase button, the voltage will slowly increase, and when it reaches about 350V, immediately turn the transfer switch to run to build the voltage. Note: After debugging, the controller does not have any display, please see the voltmeter at the machine terminal.
3. Press the start button, there is a response, but when the voltage reaches about 300V, it will drop and disappear. This may be because the change of the generator is not connected properly. If the change is connected, set the parameter 2 (parameter flag 2) to a larger value. If the excitation is overshoot, it is better to set parameter 2 to a smaller value.
II. Generator voltage swing after voltage buildup
Set the seventh parameter, parameter flag 7P, to be small, until the voltage is stable, not the smaller the better.
Three. After the controller is connected to the grid, the grid-connected indicator does not light up
1. The auxiliary contacts of the circuit breaker are not in good contact.
2. The controller stand-alone/grid switch is not connected to the grid.
Four. After connecting to the grid without adding water, the current keeps rising
The differential current line on the controller is reversed, and the IC and IC* are swapped. An important method to check whether the differential current is reversed: press the switch button on the controller after connecting to the grid, and check the generator voltage and grid voltage on the controller. The generator voltage must be higher than the grid voltage. Otherwise, the differential current will be reversed.
5. Power factor cannot be tracked after grid connection
When the polarity of the differential current is correct, just add water. This is because the active load is too small.
Six. Power factor swing after grid connection
It may be that the parameters 8I and 9P are set too large, causing vibrations. At the same time, set parameter 8 (parameter mark 8I) and parameter 9 (parameter mark 9P) to small. Set it to not vibrate, not the smaller the better.
Seven. The power factor cannot be adjusted during grid-connected power generation
When the stator current of the generator reaches the rated value, the controller automatically reduces the power factor, and the operation of the increase and decrease buttons is invalid. This is the setting function of the controller. If the power factor needs to be changed, the active load should be reduced by half to unlock the controller. status before proceeding.
